Expertly constructed to the highest spec, using the very finest grade-A teak, this teak commemorative memorial bench seat, or public remembrance bench offers a fine sanded smooth finish and can remain outdoors all year round. A small segment of a loved ones ashes can be placed into a small compartment in the base of the benches leg. This comes with a wooden plug to seal the ashes in place.
The bench is made from teak and has not had any treatment against weather on it. After few months (6-12 months) of putting the bench outdoors, the wood will turn a grey colour. We would advise to use teak oil as wood surface protector every 6 months.
